In the run-up to SPIEF 2025, a meeting of the Organizing Committee was held under the leadership of Maxim Oreshkin, Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation and Chairman of the Organizing Committee. “The Forum covers all major areas, including technology, education, logistics, trade, investment and finance. The participation of international organizations such as BRICS, SCO and EAEU in SPIEF is of particular importance. Their presence makes it possible to build effective interaction with partners, deepen economic co-operation and form joint strategies aimed at overcoming global challenges and achieving sustainable development,” noted Maxim Oreshkin.
Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation, Executive Secretary of the Organizing Committee, stressed that the event will be operated by the Roscongress Foundation.
“Active work is already underway to promote SPIEF 2025, including roadshows in India, the UAE, Malaysia, the Kingdom of Thailand and Africa. The Forum remains one of the leading international platforms for discussing sustainable development, digitalization and global cooperation.
He also noted that the International SME Cooperation Day, dedicated to strengthening collaboration between Russian and foreign partners, generates significant interest among the international audience, including representatives from China, India, and Arab states.
An integral part of the programme will be the annual International Youth Forum, which is held under the motto ‘Day of the Future’. This event reflects Russia's strategic development priorities for the coming years: shaping the future of the country and society by supporting the activities of young scientists, specialists and entrepreneurs,” emphasized Anton Kobyakov.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been instructed to simplify the procedure for obtaining Russian visas for Forum participants, as well as to facilitate the arrival of officials and business representatives from foreign countries.
