X Eurasian Economic Forum in Verona to Be Streamed Live
Scheduled to throw open its doors on 19 October 2017, the X Eurasian Economic Forum in Verona (Italy) is expected to focus on Greater Eurasia as a driving force in the current international geopolitical and economic context.
The Forum’s opening ceremony and sessions will be streamed live on 19 and 20 October on the official websites and Facebook pages of the Roscongress Foundation and St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2018, which will also cover the results of the Verona Forum. Another way to access the live broadcast will be to visit the official Forum website www.forumverona.com.
The speakers at the opening ceremony scheduled to start at 09:15 CET include Mayor of Verona Federico Sboarina, President of the Conoscere Eurasia Association Antonio Fallico, and Chairman of the Management Board of Gazprombank Andrei Akimov.
Rosneft CEO Igor Sechin and President of the Foundation for World Wide Cooperation Romano Prodi (former Prime Minister of Italy 1996–1998 and 2006–2008, and former President of the European Commission in 1999–2004) are expected to deliver special reports.
The business programme of the Forum will also be attended by Members (Commissioners) of the Eurasian Economic Commission Tatiana Valovaya, Veronika Nikishina and Sergei Sidorsky; President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Alexander Shokhin; CEO of the Roscongress Foundation Alexander Stuglev; Chairman of the Management Board of Novatek Leonid Mikhelson; State Secretary of the Russia–Belarus Union State Grigory Rapota; Secretary General for International Economic Relations of Greece Giorgos Tsipras; Member of the European Parliament Aymeric Chauprade; Managing Director of Swan Insights, General Director of Big Data Analytics and Director of Bisnode Group Marcus Hartmann and many others.
