The 15th India–Russia Business Dialogue: new opportunities for strategic partnership

On 11 December 2024, the 15th India–Russia Business Dialogue will be held at the Rossiya Segodnya news agency press centre (4, Zubovsky Bulvar, Moscow). With each passing year it has grown in importance, remaining a key element of traditional Russia–India cooperation, and actively promoted at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

It has been organized by the Indian Business Alliance (IBA), the Business Council for Cooperation with India (BCCI), the Moscow City Government, and the Roscongress Foundation.

“Relations between Russia and India have deep historical roots based on mutual trust and respect. This is confirmed by the multilateral strategic partnership between the two countries. Business and bilateral trade are of particular importance, which strengthen stability and contribute to the expansion of economic interaction. We note the growing number of joint projects and the mutual interest of the business communities of the two countries. I am confident that the business dialogue will once again become a platform for the birth and implementation of new ideas,” said Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation and Executive Secretary of the SPIEF Organizing Committee.

The event programme includes discussion of a wide range of topics: the development of transport and financial infrastructure, the introduction of innovations in agrologistics, healthcare, and biotechnology, joint research, and educational initiatives. Participants will focus on expanding trade and investment, improving industrial production, and developing human resources.

The central event will be the plenary session, where key challenges and prospects for bilateral trade, logistics, and sustainable economic development will be discussed.

Invited speakers include: Minister of the Moscow City Government Sergey Cheremin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to the Russian Federation Vinay Kumar, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to India Denis Alipov, Director General of Rossiya Segodnya Dmitry Kiselev, and First Deputy CEO of the Roscongress Foundation Andrey Reut.
