Acting Together: Thinking as One Country

17 Jun , 10:00–11:15
Protecting the Population and Quality of Life as the Main Priority
Congress Centre, zone A, 3rd floor, conference hall A

The main focus of state ethnic policy in the Russian Federation is strengthening the pan-Russian civil identity on the basis of the spiritual, moral and cultural values of the peoples of Russia. Peace and harmony in multi-ethnic societies largely depend on economic development and social justice. This entails creating conditions for equal opportunities and access to resources, education and employment for all citizens, regardless of their ethnicity. Supporting and encouraging citizens' initiatives can help increase everyone's contribution to the state's economic, cohesive and creative success. It is important to provide opportunities for the development and implementation of public initiatives that can help achieve the key goals of state ethnic policy, bringing together the public, state and business communities.
