Congress Centre, zone A, 3rd floor, conference hall A

In today's world, data plays a key role in managerial decision-making. The state, business and citizens all need timely and highly detailed figures reflecting every aspect of society's development. The data revolution and artificial intelligence are creating an information tsunami. This requires new approaches to working with data. Official statistics aim to streamline information flows and to create new statistical products that meet both the requirements of speed and quality. Today, the global statistical system is facing new challenges, including measuring the real well-being and sustainable development of society, as well as data management. Are official statistics meeting the information needs of modern society? How should the balance between the speed and the quality of official statistics be preserved? How can the burden on respondents be drastically reduced? What is the ideal model of interaction of government and business in relation to data? What changes are needed to create a new level of statistical product? What will statistics look like in 2030?
