The transformation of business in Russia has had a significant impact on the research, consulting, and audit segments, which have always been companions and reliable tools for the development of big business. These industries have traditionally been represented by major global companies headquartered in the US and EU. International companies in the consulting and business audit segments left the Russian market on their own, while in the consumption research segment, regulation of the ownership and transfer of data had to be introduced at the Russian legislative level in order to avoid leaking critical economic data concerning the current state of production and consumption in the Russian economy to unfriendly states. Research, consulting, and audit companies in Russia are not only seeing new opportunities emerge to reaffirm the skills they acquired when they were part of global companies, they are also trying their hand at new markets and competing with their former head offices. Alexey Fetisov was born on May 24, 1984. In 2007, he obtained a Master's degree from the Bauman Moscow State Technical University in the field of "Automated Design Systems."
Since 2006, he worked at Luxoft, where he progressed from a software developer to a global vice president of digital technology development. Alexey was involved in the implementation and launch of the ERA-GLONASS system in the software segment, participated in the creation of production systems for Boeing, was responsible for the execution of large-scale IT turnkey initiatives for Russian Post, Gazprombank, the Federal Tax Service, Moscow Automobile and Road Construction State Technical University (MADI), the Emergency Control Ministry of Moscow, DHL, and others.
From 2019 to 2023, Alexey Fetisov held the position of the head of the department of technological development for retail business – senior vice president of VTB Bank, where he was responsible for the digital transformation of retail business. During his tenure, he managed to completely convert all products and services of retail banking to proprietary software. Under the leadership of Alexey Fetisov, the "Omnichannel" program was implemented, which produced the greatest economic effect within the framework of the bank's digital transformation.
In October 2023, he was appointed as the CEO of T1 Holding.
