International Cyber Exercises on the Platform of the National Cyber Range
For the first time during the St. Petersburg International Forum an international cyber exercises on the basis of the National Cyber Range Ground, organized by Rostelecom together with the Ministry of Digital Development of Russia with the support of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, will take place. Representatives of Russia, Pakistan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Vietnam and Azerbaijan will take part in the cyber exercises, they will jointly investigate a cyber attack on a major power substation, on which depends the normal life of a modern city. Regular cyber exercises will help increase the cyber resilience of each participating country to a new level by increasing the coherence of cooperation against hacker attacks. Coordination of efforts at the international level will allow countries to increase their preparedness to counter cyber attacks of highly sophisticated cybercriminal groups, which have a devastating effect on the economies and populations of nations. International cyber exercises will allow participants to practice inter-team cooperation, develop practical skills in dealing with cyber security incidents, appreciate the importance of timely sharing of information in the face of a cyber attack for a coordinated response to the threat at the interstate level.
