Russia-Arab World. Dialogues for peace and cooperation
Session “Russia and the Arab World. Dialogues about Peace and Cooperation "within the framework of the SPIEF is a regular cycle of the project "Public Dialogue: Russia-Arab World "of the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation, aimed at an in-depth joint search by representatives of the most important spheres of modern public life in Russia and Arab countries for realistic ways of proactive and optimal response to the most significant and urgent problems and challenges. It has already become a stable tradition that representatives of scientific, cultural and socio-political circles, the media, public organizations and religious confessions rooted in the Russian Federation and the countries of the Arab world take part in the project.
Within the framework of the session, issues such as expanding comprehensive humanitarian cooperation and productive interethnic and interfaith dialogue, improving the methods of public diplomacy and deepening its thematic content based on the historical experience of Russia and the Arab world in maintaining and comprehensively developing positive relations between various peoples and religious confessions - in general, and through the strengthening of interpenetration and mutual enrichment of cultures - in particular. The agenda of the session also includes a discussion of modern experience in developing new positive approaches and methods in jointly countering global and regional challenges, taking into account the importance of actively developing a rich variety of historical, spiritual and cultural ties between the peoples of the Arab countries and Russia as their tested ally, as a reliable guarantor of peace and stability in the Middle East.
