Technological modernization and advanced technological development projects in Russia require more than just staffing. Their success directly depends on whether millennials become a generation of technology entrepreneurs. This means that today’s high school students should be able to try being a leader of a technology team and create their own device or programme that actually works, completes the task, and makes people's lives better. Participants and winners of the National Technology Initiative (NTI) Olympiad and other team-based engineering competitions have this experience.
The session will focus on designing the NTI Olympiad, a social lift for technology-minded young people that encompasses all schools in Russia and is accessible to every student. The session will be attended by winners and runners-up of the NTI Olympiad, champions of international engineering competitions, and leading heads of government agencies responsible for the development of science, education, and technology.

Nikita Anisimov was born in Khimki on 20 February 1978. In 1998,graduated from Moscow State University. In 2001, defended Candidate’s thesis in Physical and Mathematical Sciences. Author of several scientific works. From 2007 to 2009, Executive Secretary of the Russian Council for School Olympiads. Over the 11 years of his work at Moscow State University, rose to Pro-rector. In 2013, appointed Pro-rector for educational work of Moscow Polytechnic University. From 2015 to August 2016, Senior Pro-rector of Moscow Polytechnic University and acting Rector. Since 18 August 2016, Acting Rector of the Far Eastern Federal University. Since 14 December, Rector of the Far Eastern Federal University

2012–2020 – Rector of the University of Tyumen.
2006–2013 – Member of the Tyumen Region Election Commission with a casting vote.
2009–2011 – Chairman of the Tyumen Region Council of Young Scholars and Specialists.
2013–2016 – Deputy of the Tyumen City Duma, Chairman of the Standing Commission for Urban Development and Land Use.
2016–2020 – Deputy of the Tyumen Regional Duma, Chairman of the Committee on Social Policy.
2015–2020 – Council of University Rectors of Tyumen Region.
21 January 2020 – Appointed Minister of Science and Higher Education by the President of the Russian Federation.
