The rapid development of medical technology we are currently seeing in the global healthcare industry is creating more and more opportunities to combat life-threatening illnesses and diseases that were considered incurable. The introduction of these technologies amidst the current challenges will be more successful if countries take a more comprehensive and consolidated approach to such processes as integrating advanced technologies for the development of their healthcare systems, creating effective mechanisms to intensify mutually beneficial cooperation, ensuring that all parties recognize their common interests and goals, and developing common strategies for the modernization of key aspects of healthcare, such as improving the quality and accessibility of medical care, providing healthcare systems with skilled professionals, digital transformation, scientific progress, achieving technological sovereignty in strategically important areas, and sufficiently saturating a common market with modern medicines and medical products. Determining the avenues for interaction in these areas is a top priority for constructive intercountry dialogue in the public’s interests. What are the most important global and regional aspects of cooperation that the world community face today in terms of developing healthcare technologies? What barriers are hindering productive cooperation and what interaction tools need to be introduced to harmonize key processes in the development of the healthcare industry? What solutions need to be developed and implemented to ensure effective communication strategies and the exchange of knowledge and experience concerning human development and ways to improve the quality of people’s lives?

Evelina Zakamskaya was born on November 17, 1977, in Baku, and graduated from the Faculty of Philology at Tver State University. She is a presenter for Radio Mayak and for Mir, a television and radio company. Since 2006, she has been an anchor for television channel Russia 24. She writes and presents Mnenie (Opinion), a talk show covering social and political issues, and Idei, menyayushchie mir (World-Changing Ideas), a series of popular science programmes. Evelina Zakamskaya moderates Russia 24 sessions at major international forums. Since 2017 - Editor-in-Chief, Doctor Channel. She is married with two daughters.

Kira Zaslavskaya has more than 10 years of experience in the medical sector. She started her career as a medical representative and now she is a top manager at a major pharmaceutical company.
In 2009, she joined the team of Promomed Group. As Director for New Products, she is responsible for the product portfolio development strategy, the introduction of new technologies in the development of medicines, the organization of preclinical and clinical trials and the launch of products on the market.
Kira Zaslavskaya participated in the implementation of the world’s largest observational post-marketing study in endocrinlogy of the efficacy and safety of Reduxin®, as well as in the development, study and market launch of Areplivir®, the drug for coronavirus infection.
She graduated from the Mendeleev Russian University of Chemical Technology and passed postgraduate training program at the Nesmeyanov Institute of Organoelement Compounds of the Russian Academy of Sciences. She is an author of numerous scientific papers, a competent speaker at industry events.

Since May 2017 Irina Panarina has been appointed to the position of General Manager of AstraZeneca, Russia and Eurasia. Irina is responsible for AstraZeneca business in Russia & Eurasia Area and she leads AstraZeneca Russia.
Irina Panarina has worked for AstraZeneca since 2009. In October 2015 Irina joined the Russian team as Cardiovascular and Metabolic Disease Business Unit Head. Before coming to Russia, Irina Panarina held the position of General Manager at AstraZeneca Ukraine.
Prior to joining AstraZeneca Irina held regional roles at GSK Pharma headquarters in London, UK.
Irina Panarina has work experience in marketing, product portfolio management, people development.
Irina Panarina has degrees from Newcastle University & South Bank University. She also holds MBA degree from INSEAD Business School.

Born 7 July 1960 in Goгky oblast.
In 1985, graduated Ivanovo State Medical Institute with honours, majoring in Paediatrics. Worked her way up from a rural hospital nurse to Chief Physician of Teykovo Central Regional Hospital (Ivanovo Oblast).
In 1999, elected Deputy of the 3rd State Duma of Ivanovo single member electoral district No.78 (Ivanovo oblast), also elected Deputy of the 4th, 5th, and 6th State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
Acted as Deputy Head of the State Duma Committee for Healthcare and Sports, Head of the State Duma Committee for Healthcare, First Deputy Head of the United Russia fraction at the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
While in the State Duma, was a member of interagency working group on the Healthcare priority national project at the Russian Federation Presidential Council for the Implementation of the Priority National Projects, State Duma Committee for the Juvenile Affairs and Protection of their Rights and Governmental Committee for Combating Drug Abuse and Illegal Drug Trafficking, as well as acted as Deputy Head of State Duma Committee for Technical Regulation.
Doctor of Medicine, Honoured Doctor of the Russian Federation, Professor, co-author of over 59 research publications, 7 textbooks, 6 patents. The winner of the Russian Federation Governmental Award in the field of science and technology. In 2001, graduated Moscow State Social University specializing in Law. Holds top qualification category in Public Health. Chair of the Department on outpatient and social paediatrics at Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University (RNRMU), the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.
Decorated with the Order of Honour, Medal of the 2nd degree Order of Service to the Fatherland, Medal of Merit for the National Healthcare; received Citation from Valentina Matvienko, the Chair of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
Appointed Deputy Minister of Healthcare of the Russian Federation by Government Order No.1010-р of 18 June 2012.

Irina Yarovaya

Born 17 October 1966. Has a degree in Law, as well as in Public and Municipal Administration.
1988: joined Public Prosecutor’s Office in Kamchatka Territory, where she held positions of the Deputy City Prosecutor of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and the Head of Investigation Department in Kamchatka Territory.
Since 1997: won single-member district election to the Council of People’s Deputies of Kamchatka Territory twice.
2007 and 2011: elected Deputy of the State Duma (Member of the United Russia Party). First female Chairperson of State Duma Security and Anti-Corruption Committee in the history of Russia’s parliaments.
2016: headed the regional group №1 of the Federal list of Candidates for Deputy of the 4th State Duma from the United Russia Party (Kamchatka Territory, Khabarovsk Territory, Amur Region, Magadan Region, Jewish Autonomous Region, Chukotka Autonomous District).
In 2016 elected Deputy Chairperson of the State Duma.
According to expert polls, she is one of Duma’s five most efficient Deputies. Authored over 200 legislative acts.
Most memorable acts for the Far East include: ban on drift fishing, ban on multiple border crossing by fishing vessels, compulsory registration of fishing facilities in the region where fishing is held, simplified call at the Far-Eastern ports for international cruise lines.
