Partner events

Over the course of four years, Strong Ideas for a New Time has evolved from a major event to a national project to seek out and support useful civic initiatives. The Forum has become a regular event involving all levels of government, as well as various partner organizations and structures, where the ideas proposed by citizens make a significant contribution to the discussion on such issues as improving the quality of life, education and training, entrepreneurship, regional and urban development, environmental issues, and the development and implementation of new technologies. Priority support is given to projects that can have the potential to strengthen sovereignty and help Russia achieve its national development goals. Today, we are taking the next step in the development of our approach, moving to the principle of seeking out and supporting groundbreaking ideas and solutions, centering on what potential clients want. During Russia’s chairmanship of BRICS, we invite our partners to adopt the practice of systematically searching for and supporting socially useful ideas, the most successful of which can be replicated in the economies and societies of different countries. What formats for involving citizens in solving socially significant problems are already in place in partner countries? What formats of cooperation will be most effective when replicating promising ideas and solutions in those states?

Alexey Bobrovsky was born on 15 August 1981. In 2002, he graduated from the Journalism Department of the Modern University for the Humanities in Moscow. He has worked as reporter and host on the TV-Centre Channel, Channel 1, Radio Station Business-FM. Since 2009, he has authored and presented the Kurs Dnya [Daily Rate of Exchange] on the Russia-24 TV Channel, Head of the Channel’s Service of Economic News. He is Editor-in-Chief of the Internet site Vestifinance.ru. Since 2016, he has been General Producer of Vestfinance Forum – a new interactive platform, featuring Andrey Klepach, Boris Titov, Alexander Novak, Ksenia Yudaeva and other authoritative economic experts.

Born in Leningrad (now St. Petersburg) in 1977.
In 1999 graduated cum laude from the law faculty of St. Petersburg State University. Has PhD in law.
Between 2004 and 2005 he worked as an advisor to the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation.
From 2005 headed the secretariat of the Chairman of the Supreme Arbitration Court of the Russian Federation.
2006-2010 - chief of staff/administrator of the Supreme Arbitration Court of the Russian Federation.
In December 2010 he was appointed director of legal issues of the Skolkovo Foundation, and in November 2011, he was in addition appointed a vice president of the foundation. In September 2012, he became senior vice president for legal and administrative issues.
Member of the council on intellectual property of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of Russia. Member of the expert council of the Russian government.
Associate professor at the civil law faculty of St. Petersburg State University. Has authored more than 30 studies of civil law issues.
Member of the board of the Association of Lawyers of Russia.
Has received state awards including the gratitude of the Russian President.
Chairman of the Board of the Skolkovo Foundation since June 14, 2016.
