Youth, being the most progressive age group, are at the forefront of these processes, necessitating new approaches to promoting digital literacy among the population and preparing competent personnel for the development of the digital economy. Professor at the Belgrade Metropolitan University. Defended Ph.D. thesis in the field of information technology (information security) as the youngest in the Republic of Serbia, specializing in Advanced Security Systems. Completed three master's programs at the University of Belgrade (Serbia), Singidunum University (Serbia), and Middlesex University London (United Kingdom). Completed programs in the field of information technology and political philosophy at Harvard, MIT, and Berkeley. Visited more than 80 countries and refined his leadership and creative economy skills across the globe. Holder of The Royal Family of Serbia accolade for outstanding success. Member of the Council for the Advancement of the IT Sector of the Government of Serbia. Associate of United Nations Development Programme. Love music, skiing, tennis, and travel. Mr David Monastyrskiy was born on 5th June 1990 in Moscow.
He graduated from State University of Management with degree in Banking. He finished post-masters studies in Finance in the same institution. David passed training in Aix-en-Provence university and in IMF Institute for Capacity Development.
In 2011 he became Chairman of SUM International Council.
From 2018 he works in the Bank of Russia, currently Mr Monastyrskiy is the Senior Economist in the Financial Market Strategy Department. He also heads Youth Council of the Bank of Russia.
David is fluent in Russian, French, English, Spanish and Portuguese. He has a professional degree in ballroom dancing. He was a winner of The Brainiest TV-show.
