Organizational issues concerning preparations for the 'Russian Energy Week' Energy Efficiency and Energy Development International Forum

An interagency meeting was held on matters concerning preparations for and holding the 'Russian Energy Week' Energy Efficiency and Energy Development International Forum on May 31, 2017 on the eve of SPIEF.

The meeting was attended by heads of the federal executive authorities and representatives of the country’s major energy companies who are involved in preparing for the events of Russian Energy Week.

The meeting was chaired by Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation, Deputy Chairman of the Organizing Committee – Executive Secretary Anton Kobyakov. He noted the scale and importance of the upcoming event for developing the potential of the Russian fuel and energy industry, including in matters of international cooperation.

The meeting participants discussed issues concerning the organization of and preparations for the 'Russian Energy Week' Energy Efficiency and Energy Development International Forum. Suggestions were made for the concept of working with participants, including a proposal to add additional categories for mid-level professionals and representatives of small business.   

The 'Russian Energy Week' Energy Efficiency and Energy Development International Forum will take place in Moscow and St. Petersburg from October 3–7, 2017.
