Iran hosted a session of the Russian-Iranian Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation
Over 200 state and private companies visited the Russian-Iranian Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation. The delegation was led by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak.
During the commission’s proceedings, the Roscongress Foundation, one of the largest event organizers in Russia, presented opportunities for Iranian companies to participate in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, which will be held on 5–8 June 2024.
At the venues of the joint intergovernmental commission, meetings also took place between the Roscongress Foundation and the Iranian Chamber of Cooperatives, as well as the Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, the Trade Development Organization, the Joint Iranian-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the International Institute for Energy Studies. The parties discussed potential participation formats in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2024 and other projects of the Roscongress Foundation.
