Roscongress Signs Agreement with Russia-China Investment Fund for Regional Development
Roscongress Foundation Chairman of the Board and CEO Alexander Stuglev and Russia-China Investment Fund for Regional Development Chairman of the Board of Directors Wang Feng signed a cooperation agreement on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
The document stipulates that the parties are planning to build and develop partnerships between the business communities of the two countries by using existing platforms and creating new ones. The partners will help each other in terms of communication and providing cross-consulting services.
“Our countries have great prospects for cooperation in various areas. Both high-level contacts and personal meetings of business representatives are important for achieving these prospects. And convention and exhibition events such as the SPIEF, which create new growth points for joint projects, play a major role in this”, Stuglev said.
“We are glad to unite efforts for the sake of future success. The cooperation between our organizations will help strengthen the friendly relations between the business communities of our countries”, Wang Feng said.
The Chinese delegation is one of the largest at the SPIEF 2019. Chinese President Xi Jinping will attend the Forum at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Roughly a thousand representatives of various levels of government, state-owned and private companies and enterprises, and media representatives from China have also come to St. Petersburg.
