Charles Robertson, a leading emerging markets specialist, is Renaissance Capital’s Global Chief Economist and Head of the Firm’s Macro-strategy Unit. Mr. Robertson covers the global economic themes having the greatest impact on emerging markets. Over the past decade, the scope of Mr. Robertson’s work has covered, among other topics: quantifying political risk in emerging markets; how the retirement age rising to 67 reflects deep-rooted problems in the West and great opportunities in emerging markets; the revolutionary nature of growth in countries with non-democratic governments; the fact that Africa’s economies are now returning some of the highest growth rates on Earth, and how this trend is set to play out; the impact of terrorism and natural disasters on economies; the effects of falling agricultural stocks on food prices and inflation; and how emerging-markets banks may have the best growth potential over the coming years. Mr. Robertson is the lead author of The Fastest Billion: The Story Behind Africa’s Economic Revolution (www.fastestbillion.com), published in October 2012. Mr. Robertson was ranked the number-one economics and macro analyst for emerging Europe, the Middle East and Africa in the Extel survey in 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010. In addition, the team he led was ranked the best macro team in Extel’s 2010 survey of equity investors. Another of Charlie’s teams took first place for SSA coverage in the institutional investor survey for 2012.

In his 29 years with the firm, Dominic has advised clients in a range of industries including banking, consumer goods, high tech and industrial. Prior to his current role, Dominic was based in Shanghai as McKinsey’s Asia Chairman from 2004 to 2009 and led the Korea office from 2000 to 2004.External leadership and authored works:Dominic is an active participant in international fora including Davos, the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Les Rencontres Йconomiques d’Aix-en-Provence, the Asia Business Council and the China Development Forum. He has authored more than 80 articles on the role of business in society, leadership, financial services, Asia, history and the issues and opportunities facing markets worldwide. Dominic is a co-author, with Roberto Newell and Greg Wilson, of Dangerous Markets: Managing in Financial Crises (Wiley & Sons, 2002) and China Vignettes: An Inside Look at China (Talisman, 2007).Dominic Barton is the Co-Chair of the ‘Focusing Capital on the Long Term’ initiative along with Mark Wiseman (CPPIB) and Larry Fink (BlackRock). The initiative seeks to develop practical structures, metrics and approaches for longer-term behaviours in the investment and business worlds.He is a member of the Canadian Prime Minister’s Advisory Committee on the Public Service, is on the Board of Memorial Sloan Kettering, is Chair of the Seoul International Business Advisory Council, a Trustee of the Brookings Institution, a member of the Singapore Economic Development Board’s International Advisory Council, an advisor to the Asia Development Bank, a Board Member of the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada, a member of the Canadian Minister of International Trade’s Global Markets Action Plan Advisory Council and Chairman of the US President’s Advisory Council on Doing Business in Africa.

Ivan Glasenberg joined Glencore in 1984 and has been Chief Executive Officer since January 2002. He initially spent three years working in the coal/commodity department in South Africa as a marketer, before spending two years in Australia as head of the Asian coal/coke commodity division. Between 1988 and 1989 he was based in Hong Kong as manager and head of Glencore’s Hong Kong and Beijing offices, as well as head of coal marketing in Asia, where his responsibilities included overseeing the Asian coal marketing business of Glencore and managing the administrative functions of the Hong Kong and Beijing offices. In January 1990, he was made responsible for the worldwide coal business of Glencore for both marketing and industrial assets, and remained in this role until he became Chief Executive Officer in January 2002. Mr Glasenberg is a Chartered Accountant of South Africa and holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of Witwatersrand. Mr Glasenberg also holds an MBA from the University of Southern California. He is currently a non-executive director of United Company Rusal plc. Before joining Glencore he worked for five years at Levitt Kirson Chartered Accountants in South Africa.

Dr. Jun Ma joined Deutsche Bank in 2000 as a Managing Director, Chief Economist for Greater China, and Head of China/Hong Kong Strategy. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank , Jun worked as economist and senior economist at the International Monetary Fund and World Bank from 1992-2000. From 1988-1990, Jun was an Economic Research Fellow at the Development Research Center of China's State Council. Jun has published six books and several hundred articles on the Chinese economy, global economy, and financial markets. Jun has frequently been invited by government agencies for policy discussion. Jun has been consistently rated at the top in his fields for the past many years, including the No.1 Asia economist and the No.1 China analyst in Institutional Investors' surveys, the No 1. Economist in Asia by Thomson-Reuters, the No. 1 Asia economist and No 1. China analyst by Asiamoney, the No.1 "best economic forecaster" by Sohu Finance, as well as numerous No. 1 rankings on China economics and China strategy. Jun received his Ph.D. in Economics from Georgetown University in 1994, and his master's degree in Management Science from Fudan University in 1988.

Vladislav Soloviev was appointed as RUSAL’s CEO in November 2014. He is responsible for Company’s long-term development, driving output growth of value-added products and further penetration into new strategic markets. Since April 2010 Vladislav Soloviev was First deputy CEO and was responsible for the company’s operational management with a focus on increasing RUSAL’sbusiness efficiency and improving production and financial performance. Between 2008 and 2010, Vladislav Soloviev was CEO of En+. Between February 2001 and January 2008 he was Head of RUSAL’s Finance Directorate. Between 2000 and 2001 he was Director of RUSAL’s Accounting Department. From 1998 to 2000 Mr Soloviev held the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Tax Policy and worked as an adviser to the Minister for Taxes of the Russian Federation. From 1994 to 1998 Vladislav Soloviev held various executive positions in UNICON/MC Consulting with responsibility for auditing oil and gas companies. Mr. Soloviev serves on the Board of En+ Group. Since 2013 he also serves on the Board of OJSC MMC Norilsk Nickel. For three years he was Chairman of the Board of RussNeft. Vladislav Soloviev graduated Summa Cum Laude from the State Academy of Management and later received a degree from «Stankin» Moscow Technical University. He also graduated from the Finance Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation and earned an MBA degree from the Antwerp University in Belgium.
