Is Charity Worth It?

06 Jun , 15:20–16:05
Pavilion G, Innosocium LAB

In the global arena, more and more attention is being paid to the social issues facing society. At the same time, a recession in developed and developing economies in 2019 is leading to a reduction in the amount of money coming from private and corporate sources to support the non-profit sector, and there is a need to find new financing mechanisms.
‒ How do economic trends affect the financing of cultural, educational, and charitable projects? What support mechanisms are in place around the world, and how can they be applied in Russia?
‒ What changes are occurring in project fundraising strategies? Are there any opportunities for mass fundraising for projects not related to targeted assistance?
‒ Are there common features among the financing of charity, education, and culture in Russia?
