16 Jun, 09:00–10:00

In the current economic climate, it is particularly important to provide investors with a stable business environment and quality infrastructure. For this purpose, Russia is actively developing a system of preferential regimes to concentrate state support in specific territories, working with investors in a "one-stop-shop" format. The demand for preferential treatment increases every year. Since 2020 alone, 20 new special economic zones have been created. There are currently 50 in operation, with more than 1,000 resident companies, including major international businesses. In 2022, unprecedented preferential conditions have been created for investors on the Kuril Islands. The establishment of free economic zones in the Donetsk People's Republic, Lugansk People's Republic, Zaporozhye Region and Kherson Region are currently under consideration. What additional support measures are planned for investors in preferential regimes? Which projects will be supported as a priority?
