Involving young people in the socio-economic development of their home regions is a key aspect of the domestic policy of the Russian Federation. The active participation of young people in economic processes contributes significantly to the effective and comprehensive development of the region and enhances Russia's intellectual and technological potential. What steps can establish interaction between a region's young people, executive authorities, leading organizations and city-forming enterprises? What federal and regional programmes have already proven to be effective in addressing these issues?
