Unprincipled Readings is one of the most daring and unusual literary theatrical projects of recent times, taking the form of readings of contemporary Russian prose from the stage, allowing the author to bring the written page to life with the help of leading Russian actors.
The project is the creation of writer Alexander Tsypkin and producer Anastasia Prits, with support from editor-in-chief at Maxim Russia magazine Alexander Malenkov and Russian Booker prize laureate Alexander Snegirev. A number of leading Russian actors are participating in the project, including Konstantin Khabenskiy, Ingeborga Dapkunaite, Pavel Derevyanko, Sergei Garmash, Anna Mikhalkova, Viktoriya Isakova, Evgeniy Stychkin, Olga Sutulova, Katerina Shpitsa, Nikita Kukushkin and Pavel Tabakov.
