Simultaneous chess match with a Grandmaster using artificial intelligence

For the first time at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, there will be a simultaneous chess match using artificial intelligence.

Renowned grandmasters Sergey Karjakin and Teimour Radjabov will be challenged by 12 Forum participants, assisted by the newly developed Russian software Mendeleev Chess. Under the rules of the match, the software will guide Forum participants through every second move.

The programme, created by Karjakin and Radjabov, was created under the umbrella of Innopraktika and is powered by artificial intelligence.

The event will be held in compliance with all COVID-19 prevention measures.
