Sergey Stanovkin was appointed Head of Commercial Representatives of BBC World News in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Estonia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Moldova, Russia, Lithuania, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan in 2012. As expert on international media since 2009 he is organising training courses “National Branding and International Communications” at BBC Headquarters in London twice a year. Prior to his current appointment, since 2006 he held the position of Head of Commercial Representative Office of BBC World News in Russia. Before that, he held position of Managing Director of Dars Consulting (UK) Ltd. leading projects on national and corporate branding as well as strategic communications, PR, GR and IR. He was elected a Member of the Institute of Directors in the United Kingdom in 1999. He graduated from Moscow physical technical institute (University), faculty of aero-physics and space researches in 1989. Year later he graduated from the Academy of Foreign Trade in Moscow, faculty of international trade. Sergey Stanovkin was born in Siberian city of Krasnoyarsk in 1966.

After a distinguished diplomatic career with the Japanese Foreign Ministry, Yukiya Amano assumed the post of IAEA Director General on 1 December 2009. He had served as Chair of the Agency's Board of Governors from August 2005 to September 2006 and as Japan's Resident Representative to the Agency until his selection as Director General in July 2009. He has extensive experience in disarmament and non-proliferation diplomacy, as well as nuclear energy issues. A graduate of Tokyo University's Faculty of Law, Mr. Amano joined the Foreign Ministry in April 1972. He subsequently held postings in Belgium, France, Laos, Switzerland and the United States, as well as in Vienna.

Sergey Kirienko was born July 26, 1962, in Sukhumi. On finishing school, he entered the shipbuilding department of Gorky Institute of Water Transport Engineers from which he graduated in 1984. 1991-1993, studied at the governmental Academy of National Economy, specialising in Finance and Banking. April 1998, became Prime Minister of the Russian Federation and held this office till August 1998 when Boris Yeltsin dismissed the Government. May 2000, President Vladimir Putin appointed Sergey Kirienko as Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in Volga Federal District. November 2005, Russian Government appointed him as Head of the Federal Atomic Energy Agency. December 2007, following President Putin’s order, he took the position of Director General of the State Atomic Energy Corporation “Rosatom” and is still holding this office. Sergey Kirienko has been awarded the Order of Honour.
