With two decades of journalism under his belt at Bloomberg Television and CNN, Ryan Chilcote's been an eyewitness to many of the biggest stories of our time. Thanks to his unique background spanning general and financial news, Chilcote is as at home interviewing world leaders and politicians at the World Economic Forum in Davos as he is reporting from the world's front lines. Ryan has received several awards for his work. Among them: an Emmy nomination for Best Story in a Regularly Scheduled Newscast from the National Academy for Television Arts & Sciences, a New York Film Festival World Medal, a Clarion Award, and a nomination at the Prix Bayeux Competition for War Correspondents. Chilcote's relentless reporting has taken him from the United States throughout the whole of Europe, Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Kuwait, Bahrain, Egypt, South Africa, Sudan, Kenya and Iceland. After graduating from the University of California in 1995, Chilcote moved to Russia where he worked for CNN and traveled extensively throughout the former Soviet Union. In 2007, he moved to the United Kingdom to join Bloomberg.

Prior to joining Otkritie, Mr. Aganbegyan had served as head of the Moscow Exchange since September 2010. Under his watch, Russia’s two biggest exchanges – the MICEX and the RTS – completed a merger that resulted in the establishment of a market institution that has become a global trading centre. From 2003 to 2010, Mr. Aganbegyan managed the Russian business of Renaissance Capital Investment Company, where he was responsible for expanding and strengthening relations with key clients as well as public and government relations. From 2002to 2003, he served as the managing director for project financing at Troika Dialog Investment Company, where he managed the company’s investment and banking affairs. From 1997 to 2002, he was the co-chairman of Credit Suisse First Boston in Russia. In the 1990s, he worked at the companies PricewaterhouseCoopers, Clifford Chance and Credit Suisse Financial Products (Moscow). Mr. Aganbegyan graduated from Moscow State Law Academy in 1995.

Makram Azar is a Vice Chairman of Investment Banking at Barclays. He sits on the Executive Committee of Investment Banking in EMEA and has executive management responsibility for many emerging markets around the world including Russia, CIS, Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, North Africa as well as Latin America. Mr. Azar joined Barclays in September 2010 from Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co (KKR) where he was Managing Director and Head of Middle East and North Africa. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Azar had spent 18 years at Lehman Brothers, latterly as Managing Director, Global Head of Sovereign Wealth Funds and Chairman of Media Investment Banking for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Previously he led the Media, Consumer & Retail Investment Banking businesses of Lehman Brothers in EMEA, based in London. Mr. Azar holds a master's degree in Management and Finance from the Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC) in Paris and a BA in Applied Economics from the University Paris-IX Dauphine.

Before joining the MDM Bank Board of Directors in 2007, Oleg headed the Federal Financial Markets Service of the Russian Federation, a position he had held since 2004.Between 1999 and 2002 he was Executive Vice-President at Troika Dialog, Russia’s oldest investment company. Oleg has also held a variety of senior positions within the Russian government, including First Deputy Minister of Finance, First Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of Russia, and extraordinary advisor to the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation.After graduating from the department of mechanics and mathematics at Moscow State University in 1974, Oleg successfully defended his PhD in physics and mathematics at the same university in 1977.

At HSBC Mr. Lake is in charge of developing key decisions in the field of financing state and private sector and delivering risk management strategy for HSBC corporate clients and financial institutions in all major currencies. He is also responsible for consulting the governmental sector, including advice on shares and debt instruments. Spencer Lake joined HSBC in 2006 as Global Head of Debt Capital Markets and Acquisition Finance. He was also jointly responsible for HSBC's Government Sector. In 2011 Mr. Lake was appointed Co-Head of Global Markets. Prior to becoming part of HSBC, starting in 1989 Spencer Lake had a 17 year career with Merrill Lynch in New York, Hong Kong, and London across a number of areas including real estate finance, investment banking, and debt capital markets. From 1987 to 1989, Mr. Lake worked at JP Morgan in real estate investment banking. Spencer Lake holds a B.A. in International Finance and Marketing from Suffolk University and an M.B.A. from New York University's Stern School of Business.

Dennis Nally is the Chairman of PwC International. Mr. Nally served as Chairman and Senior Partner of the US Firm of PwC having first been elected to those roles in 2002. Prior to that, from 2000 through 2001, he served as Managing Partner of the US Firm. From 1998 to 2000, he was Audit and Business Advisory Services Leader for the US Firm. Mr. Nally joined the US Firm’s Detroit office in 1974 and became a partner in the US Firm in 1985. From 1985 to 1988, he served in the National Office Accounting Services Group in New York. From 1988 to 1992, he was Partner-in-Charge of the US Firm’s Dayton, Ohio office. From 1992 to 1995, he served as the US Firm’s National Director of Strategic Planning. From 1995 to 1998, he was Vice Chairman with responsibilities for finance and key client service support, and he was a member of the US Firm Policy Committee, US Management Committee, General Council of the Worldwide Organization.
