Maria Bartiromo is the anchor of CNBC’s Closing Bell and host and managing editor of The Wall Street Journal Report with Maria Bartiromo, recently rated the most watched financial news programme in America. It is a nationally syndicated business, financial and economic news programme. Bartiromo joined CNBC in 1993 after five years as a producer and assignment editor with CNN Business News. In 1995, Bartiromo became the first journalist to report live from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange on a daily basis. In May 2008, Bartiromo received a Gracie Award® in the category of Outstanding Documentary for her documentary “Greenspan: Power, Money & the American Dream.” She was also awarded a 2008 News and Documentary Emmy for her “Bailout Talks Collapse” coverage. In December 2009, Bartiromo was featured in the Financial Times as one of the “50 Faces that Shaped the Decade.” Bartiromo’s latest book, “The 10 Laws of Enduring Success,” was released by Crown Business, a division of Random House, Inc., in late March 2010. Bartiromo is a member of the Board of Trustees of New York University.

He studied Economics and Social Sciences at the University of St. Gallen, and in 1977 – after obtaining his doctorate – he joined Schweizerische Kreditanstalt (SKA). In 1990, Ackermann was appointed to the Executive Board of SKA, becoming its President in 1993. In 1996, Ackermann joined the Management Board of Deutsche Bank, where he was responsible for the investment banking division. In 2002, he became Spokesman of the Management Board and Chairman of the Group Executive Committee. He was appointed Chairman of the Management Board on February 1, 2006. Under his leadership, the investment banking business became one of Deutsche Bank's principal sources of revenue, joining the top tier of global investment banks within a few years. Ackermann is a member of the Supervisory Board of Siemens AG, a non-executive member of the Board of Directors of Royal Dutch Shell plc and a member of the Board of Directors of Zurich Financial Services Ltd. He is a Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Institute of International Finance, also а Co-Chairman of the Foundation Board of the World Economic Forum.

Mr. Ronald Arculli has been a Non-Official Member of the Executive Council of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government since 2005 and is the Chairman of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited. He is also the Chairman as well as Board Director of the World Federation of Exchanges (“WFE”). He is the senior partner of King & Wood, the Hong Kong Office of one of the largest law firms in Mainland China. In addition, he serves on the boards of several major listed companies in Hong Kong. In 2000, he succeeded HRH the Duke of Edinburgh as Chairman of The International Award Association. In October 2008, he is appointed by the HKSAR Government as a Member of the Board of the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority. Mr. Arculli has a long and distinguished record of public service as a former member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong (1988–2000) and the Chairman of the Hong Kong Jockey Club between 2002 and August 2006. In 2005, the City University of Hong Kong conferred on Mr. Arculli an Honorary Degree of Doctor of Social Sciences. In 2010, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology conferred on him an Honorary Degree of Doctor of Laws.

Mr. Jennings provides the vision for Renaissance's new market architecture, which has positioned the Firm to capitalise on the fundamental shift of financial opportunity from developed markets to emerging markets. Prior to establishing Renaissance Capital, Mr. Jennings served as Co-Head of Credit Suisse First Boston in Moscow (CSFB) from 1992 to 1995. Before coming to Russia in 1992, Mr. Jennings was with CSFB in London. Prior to that, he worked for CSFB and the Treasury in New Zealand, advising the New Zealand and Australian governments. Mr. Jennings earned his bachelor's degree in Business Studies at Massey University and holds an M. Phil. in Economics with first-class honours from the University of Auckland.

Prior to taking over the presidency of the BNDES, Luciano Coutinho was a partner at LCA Consultores, acting as a specialist consultant in competition law, international trade and economic reports. Between 1985 and 1988, he was the Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Science and Technology, participating in the structuring of the Ministry and designing policies aimed at areas of high complexity, such as biotechnology, computer science, fine chemistry, precision mechanics and new materials. In 1994, he coordinated the Competitiveness Study on Brazilian Industry, the work of almost one hundred specialists who mapped with unprecedented extent the Brazilian industrial sector. A specialist in industrial and international economics, he has written and organized several books, in addition to an extensive production of articles, published in Brazil and abroad. His academic studies have always focused on industrial policy and the real economy. Luciano Coutinho has a Ph.D. in Economy from the University of Cornell (US) and a guest lecturer at Unicamp. He has a Master's degree in Economy from the University of São Paulo (USP) and graduated in Economics from USP.

Mr. Pandit is CEO of Citigroup, the world’s global bank, with approximately 200 million customer accounts & activities in over 160 countries. Mr. Pandit earned a B.S. & M.S. in engineering & Ph.D. in finance from Columbia University. He joined Morgan Stanley in 1983 and was ultimately President & COO of securities & banking. Pandit was a founding member of Old Lane, LP, which Citi acquired. Pandit led the Alternative Investment & Institutional Client Groups & became CEO of Citigroup in December 2007.

Anand Sharma, a lawyer by profession, was first elected to Parliament in 1984. Chief Spokesman of Indian National Congress (INC) for six years; elevated as Minister of State, External Affairs in Jan 2006; subsequently assumed charge of Information & Broadcasting Ministry. As Minister for Commerce & Industry, he re-energized stalled Doha Round by convening Delhi Ministerial Meeting. Instrumental in signing agreements with ASEAN, Korea, Malaysia, Japan. Lead high-level delegations to over 90 countries. Assumed additional responsibility as Textiles Minister in Jul 2011. Associated in South African struggle against Apartheid; was Observer for South African Transition Process and Elections in 1994 by Commonwealth SG. Convened 'International Satyagraha Centenary Conference' in Jan 2007 at Delhi, which led UNGA unanimously adopting India’s Resolution observing 2nd October, Mahatma Gandhi’s birthday, as International Non-Violence Day. Authored ‘Journey of a Nation: Indian National Congress’. Anand Sharma is married to Dr. Zenobia Sharma and has two sons. Conferred highest civilian awards by Ghana, Ivory Coast, and Special Award by South Africa on occasion of 150 years of First Arrival of Indians.

Mr. Zhu joined CICC in 1998. Under his leadership, CICC has registered remarkable achievements in business development and expansion and has been repeatedly honored with awards by globally-renowned publications. With broad investment banking expertise, Mr. Zhu has consistently played a leading role in a large number of landmark transactions including the IPOs of Sinopec, China Telecom, China Life Insurance, China Shenhua Energy, Agriculture Bank of China, as well as a number of restructuring and M&A deals for major industries such as the mobile assets acquisition of China Telecom. Prior to joining CICC, Mr. Zhu worked for CSFB in New York, a world-wide investment banking group, and an international accounting firm in Chicago. Mr. Zhu holds a Ph.D. in Meteorology from University of Wisconsin-Madison, a Master degree in Accounting from DePaul University of Chicago and an MBA from International Bankers’ School of Credit Suisse First Boston.

Jim is chairman of Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM). As chairman, he is involved in helping guide all aspects of GSAM’s business around the world. Prior to assuming this role in September 2010, Jim was head of Global Economics, Commodities and Strategy Research. Jim is the creator of the acronym BRICs. Together with his colleagues, he has published much research about BRICs, which has become synonymous with the emergence of Brazil, Russia, India and China as the growth opportunities of the future. Jim earned a degree in economics from Sheffield University in 1978 and a PhD from the University of Surrey in 1982. He received an honorary doctorate from the Institute of Education, University of London, in 2009 for his educational philanthropy.

Mr. Vijay Chandok is the Head of International Banking and Small and Medium Enterprises groups in ICICI Bank. He joined the ICICI group in May 1993 and has nearly 18 years of experience spanning various areas like Project Finance and Corporate Banking, Small and Medium Enterprises, Retail Assets and Rural Banking. Prior to the current responsibility, he was the Senior General Manager in charge of Retail Assets, Small & Medium Enterprises (SME) and Rural & Agri Banking groups in the Bank. He was also the Vice Chairman of the ICICI Home Finance Company. Mr. Chandok was responsible for launching and scaling up the SME business in the ICICI Bank, which currently provides services to about 1 mln customers. Under his leadership, the Bank has pioneered in shaping the SME ecosystem in the country through initiatives such as 'Emerging India Awards'. He is the Chairman of the Steering Committee of New Ventures India, which is a Global Development Alliance between Confederation of Indian Industry – Sohrabji Godrej Green Business Centre and World Resources Institute, Washington, D.C. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from IT- BHU and a Masters Degree in Business Management from Mumbai University.
