Alexey Kudrin is currently Dean of School of Liberal Arts and Sciences of St. Petersburg State University. Since May 2000 till September 2011 he served as Finance Minister of Russia. His financial policies received international recognition; he was named "Finance Minister of the Year 2004" by The Banker magazine and "Finance Minister of the Year 2010" by Euromoney magazine. In years 2000-2003 and 2008-2011 Alexei Kudrin also held the post of Deputy Prime-Minister. In 2005 he was awarded the Order of Merit for the Fatherland.Before joining the government, Alexei Kudrin worked for Saint-Petersburg City government, holding positions of Deputy Mayor of St. Petersburg and Chairman of the Committee for Economy and Finances.Alexei Kudrin has academic degree of Candidate of Economic Sciences (PhD in Economics). He is professor, author of more than 30 research papers and articles on economics and finance, delivering lectures in many universities and colleges around the globe and providing his expertise to the government of Russia.

Bader M. Al Sa’ad was appointed on the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Investment Authority “(KIA)” on December 1st, 2003. Effective December 10th, 2003, Mr. Al Sa’ad was appointed as the Managing Director of KIA (the Chief Executive Officer). He is also the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of KIA. Mr. B. Al Sa’ad has extensive experience in investments and financial sector for the past 35 years. Previous to his appointment as the Managing Director of KIA, Mr. Al Sa’ad was the Managing Director of one of the leading investment company in Kuwait, The Kuwait Financial Center (“Markaz”). He also has extensive experience in various positions at the Bank of Kuwait and the Middle East (“BKME”). Mr. B. Al Sa’ad has been a member of various Boards of Directors encompassing numerous domestic and international companies, financial institutions and banks. He has also been the Chairman as well as member of various professional organizations and committees. Mr. B. Al Sa’ad was also a member of the Board of Directors of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation. He is currently a member of the Advisory Board of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and of Bank of America’s Global Advisory Council. Since April 2013, he is Chairman of the International Forum of Sovereign Wealth Funds (IFSWF) and was the Deputy Chairman since April 2009. Mr. Al Sa’ad is a graduate of Kuwait University with a major in Accounting.

Education: Laurent Vigier graduated from the Ecole Normale Supérieure, where he obtained a Master’s degree in political science. He also a graduate of the Ecole Nationale d’Administration. Laurent Vigier has been Director of Caisse des Dépôts International and permanent representative of the Group to the European Institutions since July 2007. He has been member of the Board of Directors of Caisse des Dépôts Group since January 2008. He served as senior advisor on the staff of the Minister for European Affairs in 2002 and became senior advisor to the French President in 2003. In 2007, Laurent Vigier was appointed by the President of France as the ‘contact point for negotiations’ on the drafting of the 50th anniversary declaration of the Treaty of Rome.

Prior to becoming CEO of RDIF in 2011, Kirill Dmitriev headed a number of large private equity funds and completed a series of landmark transactions, including the sale of Delta Bank to General Electric, Delta Credit Bank to Société Générale, STS Media to Fidelity Investments, etc. At the beginning of his career he worked at Goldman Sachs and McKinsey & Company. He is Deputy Chairman of the Investment Council under the Chairman of the State Duma of Russia, Vice President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and was appointed by the President of Russia as a member of the BRICS and the APEC business councils; he also was selected as ‘Young Global Leader’ by the World Economic Forum. He serves as a member of the boards of directors of Rostelecom, Gazprombank, MDMG, Russian Railways and a member of the boards of trustees of the Mariinsky Theatre and Moscow State University. In 2011 he was the only Russian representative in the list of ‘100 most influential private equity professionals of the decade’ (Private Equity International). He holds a BA in Economics with Honors and Distinction from Stanford University and an MBA with High Distinction (Baker Scholar) from the Harvard Business School.

Ding Xuedong Mr. Ding Xuedong is the Chairman & CEO of CIC. Prior to this, Mr. Ding served as Deputy Secretary General of the State Council. He held several positions in the Ministry of Finance, including Vice Minister, Assistant Minister, Director General of the Department of Education, Science and Culture, Director General of the Department of Agriculture and Director General of the Department of State-owned Capital Administration. In his earlier career, Mr. Ding served as Director General of the Department of Property Rights, and Director General of the Department of Human Resources & Head of the General Office, State-owned Asset Administration Bureau. Mr. Ding was born in 1960 and holds a Ph.D. in economics from the Research Institute for Fiscal Science, Ministry of Finance.

Under his stewardship, Investec Asset Management has grown from an African start-up in 1991 to a global firm entrusted with more than USD110 billion of client assets. In 2013 Hendrik was presented with a special recognition award by Funds Europe, marking his achievements as CEO and in 2012, he was named European Asset Management CEO of the Year by Financial News. He holds a M.Com from Stellenbosch University and a M.Phil from Cambridge University.
