Deputy of the 6th and 7th State Duma of Russia. Elected from Chelyabinskaya oblast (Chelyabinsk region).
Born on 18th of August in 1981, in Zlatoust, Chelyabinskaya oblast (Chelyabinsk region).
Graduated Chelyabinsk state University in 2003, in specialty “State and municipal administration”. Defended thesis, PhD in 2006.

From 2017 to the present -
Chairman of the State Duma Committee on “Ecology and Environmental Protection”.

Ms. Popova, M.D., has a degree in medicine and prophylactics, professor in medical hygiene.
Worked as an epidemiologist, chief of epidemiology at Budennovsk hospital, chief epidiemologist in State Center in Serpukhov and Pushino, deputy head of Rospoterbnadzor in Moscow oblast, head of HR or Rospoterbnadzor and deputy chief of Rospotrebnadzor .
After a decree of the government of Russian Federation government N1931 temporary acted as chief of Federal Agency for consumer protection and human wellbeing from October 23, 2013.
Following a decree of the government of Russian Federation N571-p appointed head of Rospoterbnadzor.

Igor served on X5’s Supervisory Board since 2013. He has been Managing Partner and CEO in RosExpert, which he co-founded in 1996 and has subsequently successfully developed into the Russian alliance partner of Korn/Ferry International. Igor started his career as finance manager at the Russian branch of Beoluna, the Japanese jewellery producer. Igor holds a degree in economics from the Kaliningrad Technical Institute (1992), and degrees in business administration from the Institute d'Administration des Enterprises (France, 1994) and the Danish Management School (1995).
